Genius! So surprised with how healthy yet indulgent this tasted. You must give it a go! A modern and super healthy take on the English classic – Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas. Replace the battered flavourless Cod/Hake for a pan fried Salmon fillet which is rich in flavour and healthy fats. Replace the deep fried White Potato Chips (fries) for Sweet Potato Fries that have more flavour and none of the bad cooking oils. And with the Mushy Peas, load in Garlic, Spring Onions, Butter, Sea Salt and Black Pepper for a fragrant and punchy take on what is normally quite bland.

For a lower calorie option, drop to one (skinless) Salmon Fillet and 200g of Sweet Potato Fries and save 384 calories.

Sweet Potato offers a nice hit of vitamin A, C, Copper, K & B6, plus has a lower blood sugar response than white potato. Salmon is a great source of protein, that is rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids (great for the brain), high in Vitamin B, good source of potassium and loaded in Selenium. All combined give a host of benefits ranging from cardiovascular, improved mood and cognition, Joint protection and eye benefits. Green peas are a rich source of many minerals such as calcium, iron, copper, zinc, and manganese, vitamin K for blood coagulation, thiamin, vitamin A, and folate.
