HEADLINES:
🔸Continued significant NHS staff absence – 85K in total, 32K related to COVID test/trace/isolate.
🔸Continued trend being that the large majority of COVID patients coming from inpatient testing, not from the community.
🔸Discharges outstrip total hospital admissions/diagnoses since 17th Nov
🔸Total NHS Bed Occupancy is 12.5K lower than this time last year, and 28K lower than last years total capacity.
🔸Most hospitals continuing to show that approx 8% of all their COVID patients end up occupying a MV bed.
